The JEOL JEM-1400 is equipped with:

  • High-Resolution Imaging: Achieve point-to-point resolution down to 0.38 nm and lattice imaging down to 0.2 nm (120kV), allowing for detailed structural analysis of your samples.
  • Flexible Voltage Control: The ability to operate at lower voltages, down to 40 kV, is crucial for reducing radiation damage in sensitive samples.
  • Advanced CCD Camera: The Gatan Orius SC1000 CCD Camera, with 11 million pixels and a high frame rate of over 14 fps, provides high image quality and real-time observation capabilities. This camera is perfect for high-resolution imaging of biological samples, capturing electron diffraction patterns.
  • High Contrast Pole Piece: Optimized for imaging soft materials with low contrast, the high contrast pole piece ensures clear and detailed images, particularly important in life sciences research.

The JEOL JEM-1400 is focused on improving conventional electron microscopy in biology and life sciences. With its high-resolution imaging, adjustable voltage control, and advanced CCD technology, it’s an essential tool for researchers. The JEM-1400 provides the performance and reliability needed for imaging stained and unstained biological sections as well as studying the properties of nanomaterials, supporting important scientific discoveries.
